The Louisiana Police Department Ride-Along program allows residents to accompany officers during their shift of duty in a police vehicle. This public education program gives residents an informed understanding of police operations. If you are interested in a ride-along, please submit the form below.

By sending a letter to the Police Chief electronically or the old-fashioned way, the officer or staff member and his or her chain of command will get a copy of your message, and it will go in his or her personnel file.
